A Penny For Them

A couple of weeks ago we took a walk along the old railway line which ran to Longridge as far as Grimsagh then returned to Preston by bus. Last week we took the bus to Grimsagh and walked back.

While this was interesting and enjoyable it was put in the shadows by seeing this chap riding an Ordinary Bicycle, often referred to as a Penny Farthing. He had cycled from Longridge to visit his mother on this modern replica.
